Several weeks ago when the quarantine started the Lord placed it on our hearts to have a daily 12:00 prayer and worship time.
We decided to meet outside our little Village of Hope homes and pray while the worship music washed over us. No agenda really. Just a chance for all of us to sit and be in His presence- remembering who’s in control.
God worked in so many ways during that time. Our world slowed down and we were able to hear. I would look around and watch them raising their hands and singing of His goodness. It quickly became the highlight of our day.
Just 4 weeks later, 13 children chose Jesus as their personal Savior and today we had the privilege of baptizing 23!! These are children who have experienced the dark- and choose the light.
We are so grateful for our partners, those who have prayed with us, encouraged us and advocated for us. We are grateful for our team here on the grounds and our US and Guatemalan boards for all of their wisdom and support.
“One Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.” Ephesians 4:5-6
