Our Calling
Our calling is to do what we can to provide family, faith and a future to children living with special needs, adolescent mothers and children who were sex trafficked.
We strive to do this in many ways but below is how we continue to commit to the calling that God has set out for us.
FAITH
We follow God’s heart without fear, acknowledging our complete dependence on the goodness and grace of God we seek excellence without compromise in all areas of our ministry and lives, operating with honesty knowing that ultimately God is in control of the results.
And God, who knows the heart, bore witness to them, by giving them the Holy Spirit just as he did to us, and he made no distinction between us and them, having cleansed their hearts by faith. Acts 15:8-9
FAMILY
We invest in the lives of others. We share each other’s burdens and rejoice in each other victories. We consider other more important than ourselves. We celebrate diversity and require unity. We are committed to what is best to the ones the Lord has entrusted to us, and together we champion our callings.
God sets the lonely in families … Psalms 68:6.
FUTURE
We fight for holistic healing by depending on the transforming power of Jesus Christ. We see with eyes of hope, with full knowledge that God redeems. WE make disciples because we have committed to the commandment that is the great commission.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11
Prayer for our families
There are many needs that we have. Not just for the ministry but for the country of Guatemala. Every month there are several requests we share that gives you an opportunity to support us by diligently praying for our staff, the children, our leadership and our community.
